Roberto Almanza Jr.

Roberto Almanza was born in California, and currently resides in Illinois. From his perspective, art is the only thing able to satisfy his hunger for creation and grant him the privilege of bringing many things in his odd and unique mind to existence. He is a dedicated and self-driven artist who prefers to allow his work to speak for him.

Characters, environments, and stories from animated films, cartoons, and video games, are among the biggest influences in his work. He draws inspiration from books such as Goosebumps, Tales from the Crypt, Harry Potter, and Captain Underpants. The idea of monsters and aliens living among us fascinates him, and have become subjects in many of his pieces. 

Roberto has a tendency to depict odd characters in fun and exciting situations. In every illustration he adds a mixture of strangeness and humor to an otherwise bland and common everyday situation. Every piece is done with the intention of entertaining and inspiring the viewers, and to leave them anxious to see what his next creations will be.
